Repair Tracker (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Repair Tracker web application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account information: username, password (stored securely hashed), and shop details (name, phone, email, address, GSTIN).
• Business data: customer names, phone numbers, emails, repair job details, device information, costs, and notes you enter into the Service.
• Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card or UPI details. We receive payment confirmation, order IDs, and transaction status from Razorpay.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use your information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate your account and keep your shop data isolated from other tenants
• Process subscription payments and manage your plan status
• Send service-related communications (e.g. account or billing notices)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues

3. Data isolation

Each repair shop’s data is stored separately. Shop owners can only access data belonging to their own shop. We do not sell your customer or job data to third parties.

4. Third-party services

We use trusted third parties to operate the Service:

• Razorpay — payment processing (Razorpay Privacy Policy)
• Hosting provider — cloud infrastructure to run the application and database

5. Data retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we strive to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
